This is Hitesh Goyal And today we are going to explain you something that must need to be known by every tech consumer of India. Especially for those who had spent their money in buying Oppo or Vivo smartphone or who are going to buy it as their future smartphone.
We all get influenced by a lot of banners of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone holding Vivo and Oppo Mobiles, TV commercials about these smartphones but which influences us more is our neighbor shopkeeper. yes, When w ego out from house to buy a new smartphone, we think a lot. We check the internet, do some google about smartphones, watch videos on youtube and we went out to buy it. Some choose to directly buy it from online shopping sites but some always think that such type of thing must be bought only from a retail store. Now the thing comes to the retail store.
We go out and sees a lot of Vivo and Oppo posters in the shops. Dealer in the shop shows you mobiles of Oppo and Vivo saying you that these are the best smartphones in today's India. You get influenced as they scare you about online sellers and explain the features of this one in the best way they can. Now you get influenced and just buy that mobile.
Now the actual question arises was this purchase a worthful one or you spent more money than required? Were you got looted by your neighbor shop?
For the answer of this question, let's take an example. We have two mobiles. One is Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 And another one is Vivo V5. We are going to compare these mobiles.
If we come to their processor performance, Vivo v5 comes equipped with a MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core processor, on the other hand, MI redmi Note 4 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 825 octa-core processor. Now we will think that both are octa-core processors so their performance will be same but the fact is Qualcosnapdragongon 825 is far better than MediaTek MT6752. This MediaTek processor is one of the worst octa-core processors and also the cheapest one too.
Also, Mi Redmi Note 4 comes with a DDR4 4GB ram and Vivo v5 Comes with DDR3 4GB ram. DDR4 ram will give you a far better performance than a DDR3 Ram. SO in the case of performance, Mi is much ahead of Vivo.
Now talking about cameras, Both the smartphones have the same rear camera but the difference arises in front cameras. Vivo v5 has a 20MP shooter with moonlight flash. We accept that it is better than Note 4 but you must know that you are not going to use your mobiles just for taking selfies. You are going to use it for some other functions too.Both the devices come with 5.5 Inch display but Vivo v5 has resolution of just 720*1080p while note 4 comes with 1080*1920p resolution.
If we compare the prices, Vivo V5 will cost you 16,000Rs and redmi note 4 will cost you 13,000 rs with a much better performance. Now the actual question arises why Oppo and Vivo are getting sold if they are so cheap ones? The answer is simply marketing. They give a huge commission to retailers for selling phones and thus they influence you to buy them.
Now the choice is your yours. Whether you want to buy a smartphone which will give you a great performance or you will go with a smartphone which needs money for paying to the actors and advertisements. This money will be taken from you.
